YOU'RE ORIGINALLY FROM NEW ZEALAND. WHAT BRINGS YOU TO LONDON?
Moving to London 10 years ago from New Zealand, I left with no expectations or any idea of what I was getting myself into. What a wild journey I have been on, this city has stolen my heart and challenged me in ways I never expected! It has also allowed me to live in one of the most dynamic, vibrant, multicultural cities in the world; with its incredible energy and exposure to a melting pot of different cultures and beliefs. London enables you to connect with people from all walks of life. The luxury of being able to see the world so easily will never grow old and continues to
inspire and surprise me.
HOW DO YOU EXPRESS SELF-LOVE?
I always prioritise my happiness, the love we give to others is a reflection of our own relationship with ourselves; it is the foundation that makes it possible to create beautiful relationships with others.
I have a naturally curious mind. I am constantly dreaming and exploring new interests whilst learning about myself along the way, from astrology, nutrition to meditation. I thrive off discovering experiences to enhance this crazy life journey. Surrounding myself with friends and family that enlighten me bring me the most joy. Escaping to the seaside will always cure everything, being creative and most importantly, have fresh colourful flowers everywhere!
WHAT DOES LOVE MEAN TO YOU?
Love is magical, it is the driving force behind all of our love stories, our friendships, our relationships, our memories and our experiences…it is all encompassing.
The little people in my world have taught me so much about love, hearing their voices, their laughter, handwritten cards in the post, watching them grow and develop, seeing the world through their eyes. My heart explodes when I think of them.
Love is transformative.
WHAT ARE YOUR GO-TO JEWELLERY ITEMS?
When my Dad was a little boy, he used to sit at his mother’s dressing table and often watched her as she put on all her wonderful jewellery. There was one piece that he always admired, a beautiful amethyst ring. She promised that one day she would give this ring to him… and over 45 years later she gifted this ring to him on his 50th birthday.
My Dad gave this ring to me as a gift when I left for London, it fitted me perfectly and I haven’t taken it off since.
DO YOU PREFER GOLD, SILVER OR MIXED METALS?
I like to mix up my jewellery depending on my mood and what I'm wearing. I adore semi precious/precious stones – I love all the colours and finding out the meaning behind each stone and selecting stones which resonate with me.
