When I first began the Monarc Jewellery collab with Serendipity Ave, I foresaw it being a one-off collection. But now three collections and many avid fans of our signature pieces later, it would appear that this collaboration line has taken on a life of its own. So fittingly, it should also have its own identity.

Charlee wears Holiday Hoops in sterling silver.

'Noémie' the new brand name for these beautiful collections of go-to, everyday pieces. One of the things I wanted to make absolutely sure of with Noémie is that it follows the same steadfast focus on sustainability and minimal environmental impact as Monarc. To that end, each Noémie jewellery piece will come in a small pouch made entirely from dead-stock cotton and bamboo and housed in a keepsake box that's made from recycled cardboard. These pouches are completely natural, having never been dyed and as dead-stock, it is making use of fabric that was otherwise destined for the refuse pile. Using a fibre that hasn't been died or grown with the use or pesticide was particularly important to me as the production and dying processes in the textile trade cause a huge amount of environmental pollutants. My aim with these pouches is to show that recycled and dead-stock goods are just as beautiful and don't need unnecessary dyes either. On the practical side, the Noémie pouches are damn cute and are actually a much more practical way to store your keepsakes.

Our approach to sustainability doesn't stop at keepsake pouches...

As with previous collections and in line with Monarc Jewellery's production, the new Noémie series will be made from a minimum of 85% recycled metals and adheres to Monarc's strict no-compromise commitment to work only with like-minded suppliers with fair employment practices.

The Noémie line features 3 new hoops, Silky Tie bracelets and necklaces, including the stunning new Nevada design in the image above, and my personal favourite, the Twisted Sister Hoops, which are so easy to wear, I rarely take mine off.
