About our Try-On Rings
While the design of our representation rings is the same as Monarc’s real rings,
the materials used to create the rings are very different.
Our representation rings for home try-on are made with:
Metal: Sterling Silver
*Try-on rings can be plated in a thin layer of gold or rhodium
to project the gold/platinum of the final piece.
Stone: Cubic Zirconia
Sizes offered: K, M and O
All of our try-on boxes are issued with a ring sizer.
We offer to craft this Empress commitment ring in 18k yellow gold, 18k white gold, 18k rose gold and platinum.
Shown in 18k yellow gold with a 0.75ct centre diamond.
Prices start from $3,000 NZD excl. GST, or £1,620 GBP excl. VAT. See our full pricing guide above for more details.
We use cartel-free, 100% carbon neutral and 100% traceable diamond stones.
MORE ABOUT OUR DIAMONDS HERE
Once your diamond is selected, its precise dimensions are calibrated into a unique technical drawing. We will then create a delicate wax mould, which is used to cast your ring in your chosen metal. After casting, your ring is filed, polished, and cleaned by our master goldsmith before being passed onto our diamond setter who carefully sets your stone. After the final round of buffing and polishing, your completed ring is checked and graded, then it begins its journey home to your hand.

HOW DO I DECIDE UPON A RING SIZE?
If you are unsure of your finger size you can email to ask us for a ring sizer tool, or simply follow these easy instructions below:
Wrap a piece of thread or string around the chosen finger. Cut the thread where it meets end to end. Place the length of the thread along a ruler which will give you the circumference, and allocate it to the correct measurement table below. If the band of your chosen ring design is particularly wide, it is often better to go one size up.
HELPFUL JEWELLERY CARE INFORMATION:
Remove your jewellery before showering, sleeping, swimming, cleaning or working with your hands. There are many reasons for this - to prevent scratches, to avoid damage to your metal, and also to keep your jewellery and gemstones free from soap residue and build up.
Clean your jewellery regularly. To do this, dilute a small amount of mild dishwashing detergent in warm water and gently wash your jewellery. A soft bristled toothbrush can be used to gently clean the piece. Soak the item for up to 10 minutes, rinse and then pat dry with a clean, soft cloth. We don’t recommend using silver polishing liquids or chemical cleaners to clean our jewellery.
Restrict the exposure of your jewellery to perfumes, hairsprays and creams. Do not expose your jewellery to household bleaches, cleaners or chlorinated water. This is why it is important to take your jewellery off before cleaning or swimming.
