BRONZE
An alloy of copper with a small amount of tin (about 12%). The high proportion of
copper gives the metal a warm tone. As the name suggests, bronze was widely
used in artworks created during the bronze age (from 2500 to 800 bc) and is now
used in some jewellery production.
