HALLMARK
Stamps applied to a piece made in precious metal – gold, silver, platinum or
palladium– which demonstrates that it has been independently tested and
conforms to legal standards of purity. The series of marks will show where the
piece was hallmarked, what it is made from and who sent it for testing.
