TOPAZ
Though blue is the best known topaz colour, the stone also occurs in a variety of
colours, from colourless, through green, yellow, orange, pink and purple. A silicate
mineral, the stone is composed of aluminium and flourine and has a Moh’s
hardness of 8 – the hardest silicate mineral.
